Lissajous 3D

A Lissajous curve is a curve traced out by the motion of an oscillating point. The original Lissajous curves were inspired by sound, and were made by attaching mirrors to a tuning fork and using those to reflect light to make the patterns. Physicists often modify their oscilloscopes to show Lissajous figures. Lissajous 3D draws figures in 3D as a ribbon, or a tube, with varying cross section, and uses a point oscillating in three dimensions instead of the original two.
