Full-Screen Explorer Window

Did you know that you can view any Explorer window in full-screen view (just as you can in Internet Explorer 4.x and beyond)? Assuming the window is not currently maximized--in other words, you can see all of its edges--hold down the Ctrl key as you click the middle caption button in that window's upper-right corner.

In our next tip, we'll show you a shortcut for getting that window back to the size you started with (other than closing and reopening the window, or right-clicking the maximized window's Taskbar item and selecting Restore).
