Think Visually with Subdatasheets
One of the easiest-to-use, yet most useful enhancements to Access 2000 is subdatasheets. These special datasheets draw you a visual picture of your relationships by creating a hierarchical display of your data in Datasheet view. Subdatasheets display both primary key records and their related foreign key records.
Open any table in Datasheet view, and if related records exist, Access will display a new column to the left of the datasheet. If that column contains a plus sign, the corresponding record has related records. Click the plus sign to see the related records. When the column contains a minus sign, no related records exist.
