Creating Desktop Short Cuts

If you're working in Explorer and would like to create a shortcut of a file on your desktop, use the right mouse button to drag the file's icon to the desktop. When you reach your new location, release the right mouse button. A menu will appear asking what you want to do with the file. Select Create Shortcut(s) Here.
