Javascript Annoyances
Are you looking for a way to prevent numerous unwanted windows from opening when you go to certain sites? Some places pop up three, four, even five extra windows when you visit them.

There is a way, but its not the best solution in the world... Turn off JavaScript. This is not a perfect solution, however. Many pages you browse may use JavaScript, and you may not even know it, so this may impair your browsing somewhat. But give it a shot and see how things go.

Choose Tools, Internet Options. Click the Security tab. Next, click the Custom Level button. Choose Disable in the Active Scripting area. Click OK twice to close open dialog boxes.

To turn JavaScript back on, follow these steps but choose Enable in the Active Scripting area.
