If you're experiencing some difficulty when you use Dial-Up Networking for Outlook Express or Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 and their log-in procedures, listen up. If you tell DUN to save your password, but it's not there the next time I go to connect. You've definitely got a problem; but a fixable one.
First of all, this can happen for several reasons. For instance, your password list file may be corrupt, which you can solve by renaming the file. Try reading the Microsoft Knowledge Base article below for help in diagnosing and correcting the problem:
In some of the solutions this article mentions, you may need to start the Registry Editor. Do so by clicking the Start button, then typing
regedit in the Run dialog box. Then click the OK button.
