Easy Access to Functions
If you use lots of functions in Excel, you might like to know there's a simple and efficient way to enter functions without accessing the Insert menu. Try using the keyboard shortcut--Shift-F3--which opens the Paste Function dialog box.

From here you select the function category and then specify the actual function. Excel will display the function's arguments and hints about the function. Using the Paste Function dialog box, you'll avoid typos and argument errors.
