What if I Don't Want to Open it with That?
If you want to know how to change a file's program association, check this out. Suppose you double-click a file that has no association, and when the Open With dialog box appears, you choose NotePad. From now on, double-clicking that file will open NotePad. If you'd like to change the assignment, select the file by clicking its icon and then hold down the Shift key while you right-click the file. Choose Open With from the menu. Now make a new selection in the Open With dialog box and select the Always Use This Program to Open This Type of File check box and click OK.
