We described in several tips how to make a registry change to allow automatic log-on for the administrator. If you want to log on as someone else, its not a problem.

All you have to do is click Start--Shut Down. Select the radio button labeled Close All Programs and Log On as a Different User. Click Yes and hold down the Shift key while Windows NT restarts. This time, you'll get the familiar sign-in box.
