Put an Address Bar in any Explorer Window
When you're working on your local drive, you may find it handy to be able to quickly type in an Internet address and then go there right away. If so, open a folder and choose View, Toolbars, Address Bar. This places an Address bar in your folder's toolbar. You can then open up a Web page in the current window. You can move back and forth between the Web and your desktop by using the Back and Forward arrows.
