In a recent tip we suggested that you view the directories using the Command prompt by typing
dir /s |more
and pressing Enter. It was pointed out to us that you can implement a few variations on this theme. To view only the directories (no files), type
dir /s /ad
You can use the /p switch to pause. So,
dir /s /ad /p
will present all the directories one page at a time when you press Enter. To view all the subdirectories in the current directory, type
dir /ad /p
and press Enter.
