More on Web Subscriptions
A while ago we told you about IE4's ability to subscribe to web pages in our tip on Web Subscriptions. Here's a little more on the subject. You don't always have to go through the menus (Favorites, Add to Favorites) to set up a web subscription. You can also do it directly from the Properties dialog of any URL shortcut.

If you right-click on any URL shortcut and select Properties, you'll see a Subscription tab. Click it to open the Subscription properties. From here you can subscribe, or unsubscribe to any URL, plus change the settings for that subscription.

Notice how the Properties dialog tabs change with your choice. Once you subscribe, two new tabs appear, Receiving and Schedule so that you can set how and when to receive notification of a page update.
