Although many anonymous FTP sites allow you to remain more or less anonymous, many require that you use your e-mail address as a password. We suggest that you use your e-mail address even when an FTP site doesn't demand it. It's just good Internet manners.

All FTP client programs will let you enter your e-mail address into the password box and save it for future use.
