Nobody's Default But Mine
When booting a dual or triple boot system, Windows stops and asks which operating system to load. If you want to change the default time of 30 seconds, do the following: Click Start, Control Panel, System. When System Properties opens, click the Advanced tab. Click the Settings buton in the Startup and Recovery section.
Check the drop down for the Default Operating System. Make sure the current default condition is set to what you want. If the condition is not what you want for the default, click the arrow at the right side of the list box and select your startup condition you down want from the drop down.
Check the Time to display list of operating systems check box, and then enter the number of secods that the Windows XP boot loader should display the boot menu. After you make your selections, click OK to close the System Properties dialog box and save your changes.
