A Quicker Connection
One of the easiest ways to get access to all of your network shares without having to type in the UNC each and every time to need to access the share is to map the share as a drive.
To map a network share as a drive, run Windows Explorer and choose Tools, Map Network Drive. When the Map Network Drive Wizard appears, choose an available drive letter from the drop down. In the folder field, type the full UNC of the network folder you want to map as a drive. Make sure you check the Reconnect at logon check box. When you're done, click the finish button.
