Distribute Rows And Columns Evenly
The last couple of tips have shown you simple ways to resize tables and rows in Word 2000. Now that you've been going nuts with all of this resizing business, you may suddenly find that your table is a mess, with 2-inch-high rows nestled next to ones so narrow they can barely hold 6-point text. So how do you get those rows and columns nice and even again?

Easy. Just select the rows or columns that you would like to resize and right-click in the selected area. From the shortcut menu, choose Distribute Rows Evenly or Distribute Columns Evenly (depending on which you're adjusting), and Word 2000 splits the difference, making your selected rows and columns of equal size. The larger ones will become smaller and vice versa. You can also choose these commands from the Tables And Borders toolbar.
