Customizing Windows Vista
Customizing Vista to your liking is a lot easier than customzing previous versions of Windows, including XP. With Vista, all of the items you can customize are available in one easy to access spot. Simply bring up the Personalization applet in Control Panel.

Right click the Vista desktop and choose Personalize from the context menu that appears. From here, you can change colors, desktop backgrounds, your screen saver, as well as a number of other attributes, including your Display Settings. This centralized sub-control panel is a much easier way to making your PC your own than in previous versions of Windows and is much more intuative.
