Adding Picture Bullets
When drafting a memo to your boss, it's always best to stick with plain, black bullets in your document. The standard bullet lets readers know that they've encountered a serious piece of work, put together by someone with a healthy respect for convention. But what if you're creating an invitation to a birthday or other party? That's a good time to break out Word 2000's Picture Bullets.

Picture Bullets are a great way to add a touch of fun to your document. First, select the text that you want bulleted. From the Format menu, choose Bullets And Numbering. Click the Bulleted tab and then click the Picture button, which brings up a detailed list of fancy bullet options. When you've found the perfect one, click on it and select Insert Clip. Your bullets now mirror your wild, reckless personality.
