Storage Space is One of the Most Important Things You Can't Do Without
Having too little hard drive space can be a nightmare. There is nothing worse than working with a program and running into an error message that tells you you've run out of disk space. I've had my computer crash and lock up because I ran out of elbow room.
When buying or upgrading your computer, you really should do yourself a favor and buy the biggest hard drive you can lay your wallet on. With drives as large as 15 to 20 GB, at a price point of pennies per megabyte, you can't go wrong. It's very similar to buying your kids clothes or shoes just a hair bigger than they need to be. It may be a little much now; but give it a while. You'll definitely grow into it.
