Allocate all system resources to an MS-DOS program
There are times when you may want to let MS-DOS programs use all of the system resources rather than sharing resources between any running Windows applications. This is especially good for many resource-hogging games. To do this:
In Explorer, right-click the icon for the program.
On the File menu, click Properties.
On the Program tab, click Advanced, and then click MS-DOS Mode.
You can also specify the environment you want your program to run in by providing alternative Config.sys and Autoexec.bat files. Either type the commands you want in the spaces provided, or create a basic configuration by clicking Configuration and selecting the options you want.
