Hide the Task Manager

You can hide Task Manager and still have it available for use. Open Task Manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and choose Options, Hide When Minimized. Now Task Manager will remain active but won't clutter up the taskbar. To restore it to view, locate its icon (a small bar graph display) in the taskbar tray, near the time display, and double-click it.
