Stick with Program Manager for new upgraders

If you'd like to let your staff adjust to Windows NT 4.0 gradually, you can still use Program Manager. Locate PROGMAN.EXE (probably in your \WINNT\SYSTEM32 folder) and place a shortcut on the desktop so you can experiment.

If you want Program Manager to start automatically for a certain user, drag the shortcut into the Startup folder for that user. To locate the Startup folder, open your \WINNT folder in Explorer, then find \Profiles and then the folder for that user. You'll see the Startup menu under the user profile. Drag the Program Manager icon into the Startup folder. Now Program Manager will start on bootup.
