Rename worksheets in Excel
By default, whenever you begin a new workbook in Excel, it automatically starts out with three worksheets, named Sheet1, Sheet2 and Sheet3, with each name appearing on the tab.
Chances are you're going to want something a little more descriptive than that. Changing the names is as easy as right-clicking the tab you want to change and select Rename from the menu. Alternately you can just double-click the tab and retype the new name.
