You probably know, from Windows 95, how to make a Startup (Emergency Boot) disk by going to Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs, clicking the Startup Disk tab, then Create Disk. Well, in Win98, there's another way. Simply go to Start, Run and enter bootdisk and click OK.
Win98's EBD is superior to the one that was made in Win95 in that it now includes a Multi-Config Start Menu and full CD-ROM support. If you don't have one, you should make one - RIGHT NOW!
BOOTDISK.BAT can be found in your \Windows\Command folder - in fact, all of the files used in creating the boot disk can be found in \Windows\Command\EBD. For more information on what else is new, check out \Windows\Command\EBD\readme.txt.
