File Transfer

Here's one you may not have heard. If you installed a VoiceView compatible modem in Windows 95, you'll now have a feature that other modem users don't. It's called File Transfer. This program enables you to send a file to someone while you are talking to them on the phone. File Transfer requires a modem that supports VoiceView.

To find File Transfer, click the Start button, point to Programs, and then point to Accessories. File Transer will also add a new entry in your SendTo folder called Person on Phone. If this component is not on your computer, look up "installing, Windows components" in the Help Index.
