Quick Theme Switching

Microsoft Plus! themes can be make the desktop more fun but they can also get in the way if you are trying to get some real work done. Making a change from your favorite theme to something more subtle can be quick and easy. Just fire up Explorer and look in your \Themes folder (usually C:\Program Files\Plus!\Themes\) and look for the files with the .THEME extension.

You can create a shortcut to any of them right on the desktop, or you can launch it right away by double-clicking the theme you want. This opens the Desktop Themes window where you can apply that theme instantly, or pick a new one.
