Quick return to your desktop
In Windows 95, if you have several applications or windows open at the same time and want to go to the desktop, you have to close or minimize all of them to get there - usually by right-clicking the taskbar and selecting Minimize All Windows from the menu. Internet Explorer 4.0 has added an easy shortcut to get you to your desktop immediately. Click the Desktop button (on the Quick Launch portion of the taskbar) and your desktop will move to the front. Click the Desktop button again and your screen will return to the applications you left earlier, layered in the same order.

Note: This tip assumes you have Active Desktop installed.
