Drag and Drop to Move or Copy
You probably know that you can select text (words, sentences, paragraphs), and then grab the selected text with your mouse and move it to a new location. Hold down the left mouse button during the drag, and release it when you reach its new location.

Word also lets you copy selected text using the drag-and-drop method. To do this, all you have to do is select the text and then hold down the Ctrl key while you drag the text to a new location.
