Selective disk space usage
Have you ever wanted to know how much disk space is being used by a group of files and/or folders? This can be accomplished easily by selecting only those items you want, then right-click and select Properties.
In an earlier tip we described how to go about Selecting multiple files, but here's a quick recap. Hold down CTRL while selecting each file, alternately, if you hold down SHIFT you can select a range of files (everything between the first and last items selected will be highlighted).
Here's a tip within a tip - if you want to select just about every object in a folder, but not all of them, select the items you DON'T want, then from the Edit menu, select Invert Selection.
