Move items in your Start Menu
This is a feature we wish had been in all previous versions of Win9x and NT, the ability to manually rearrange items on the Start Menu, and all cascading menus, simply by dragging and dropping.
You're no longer limited to the alphabetized listing with IE4. All you have to do is click the Start button, then left-click and drag any object to a new position on the menu. This not only works with all of the cascading subfolders too, but you can move items from menu to menu. You can even move items to and from the menus as well. For example, you can click and drag a shortcut from the Start Menu and drop it on your desktop or into another open folder.
Note: This tip assumes you have Active Desktop installed.
