Auto-resize columns in Explorer

You already know that you can change the column widths in Explorer (in Details View) by moving the cursor over the edge of the column title until the cursor changes to a vertical bar with a double-headed arrow, then dragging the column to a new size. But did you know there's a couple of ways to do this automatically? After all, when it comes to column widths, one size does not fit all. Your folders all contain different file names, file types, etc. So what fits one folder may hide information in another.

Here's a couple of quick resize tricks. If you only want to resize one column to its optimum width, move the cursor to the right edge of that column title until the cursor changes, but instead of dragging the width, double-click the divider. The column will automatically resize to fit the longest entry. To resize all of the columns in one move, just click anywhere inside the Details View pane (to give it the focus) then press [CTRL] + [+ on the numeric keypad]. This will resize all of the columns instantly.
