Many NT users never think of the Event Viewer until there's a rather serious problem somewhere. Don't wait for a major problem, you can get an idea of how your system is running by simply checking the Event Viewer now and then. To open Event Viewer, click on Start, Programs, Administrative Tools, and finally, Event Viewer. Look for events with red or yellow icons. These icons represent potential problem events (red is an error, yellow is a warning). To see the details of an event, double-click on it.
You may not always know that errors or warnings even occurred. Keep the Event Viewer in mind, it can help you avoid future problems.
