Explore a New Start
Would you like Explorer to start in a specific directory? You can easily specify a directory if you have an Explorer shortcut on your desktop. All you have to do is right-click on the icon. From the menu that appears, choose the Properties command. Click the Shortcut tab, and in the text box labeled "Target," type

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /n,/e,(DriveLetter):\

and press Enter. After you enter all the data, click OK. The neat thing about today's tip, is that it works for all released Win32 platforms, so you can use it on a computer near you.
