Move Files Quickly
Windows NT 4.0 offers a new way to move files from one folder to another. Open Explorer and right-click on a file you'd like to copy or move. In the menu that appears, you can choose Cut or Copy. This transfers the file to the Clipboard. Now go to your target folder and choose the Paste command from the Edit menu.

Note: This feature works on any Win32 platform, including Windows 98 and Windows ME.
