Follow the Right Path
When you set up a Windows NT path statement, make sure the NT system path comes first. For example, your Autoexec.bat might contain this line:

path=c:\winnt\system32;d:\App_Directory

Constructing your path statement in this manner will ensure that NT finds all of the system components it needs.
