Spacing Out
Not sure how much space is left on your hard disk? Double- click My Computer. Now right-click the icon of the drive you want to check, then choose Properties from the resulting menu. This opens the Properties dialog box, which will show you exactly how much space you've used and how much remains available for use.

You can use the same technique to check a floppy disk. Just insert the disk and right-click the floppy disk drive icon.

When you're finished, click OK to close the dialog box.
