How much hard disk space do you really have?
To quickly see the capacity and free space of your hard drive, open My Computer and select the drive on which you want information. The status bar on the bottom of the window displays the information as soon as you select a drive, as shown below. (Make sure you have the status bar turned ON - look under View, Status Bar)

For more detail and a 'pie-chart' view, right-click on the drive icon and select Properties from the drop-down menu.
