Change the font size on Taskbar buttons
Ever wish you could change the font style, color or sizes for the items on the Taskbar? You probably already looked and didn't find such an entry listed anywhere in Display Properties either. Don't worry, it's combined with another entry called "Active Title Bar". Here's how to change it.
Go to Control Panel / Display or right-click anywhere on Desktop and select Properties.
Select the Appearance tab.
Select "Active Title Bar" in the Item list.
Adjust the font size and select Apply to see what it looks like.
Once you're satisfied with your choice, select OK to close Display Properties.
Remember that this selection not only changes the Taskbar button font and size, but also the Active Title Bar in all of the programs that you run in Windows 95. So, choose a font that looks acceptable and readable in both places. That's all that there is to it!
Here's another one. Have you ever wanted to change the font displayed in Explorer windows? There's no obvious entry for that one either is there? Try changing the item named ICON.
