Total Erase, no questions asked
If you use the ERASE *.* command in an MS Command Prompt window, it asks you if you're sure, and you have to answer [Y] or [N]. Here's an undocumented Win95 feature: By omitting the period and simply typing ERASE **, it deletes the contents of the folder with "no questions asked". This is great if you want to run batch files without stopping to answer questions. It's also a very handy way of clearing out your \TEMP folder of all of its useless, space-hogging files at each startup. This trick also works with the DEL (Delete) command. (shown below)
