Screen Saver Passwords
If you need to step away from your machine momentarily, you can easily keep prying eyes away from your work by adding password protection to your screen saver. Right click on your Desktop, select Properties, click the Screen Saver tab, and select a screen saver. Then check Password protected and click Change to enter a password. Once the screen saver has been activated, you'll need the password to turn it off.

As with any password, make sure and keep it written down in a SAFE PLACE. Writing it on a sticky note stuck to the monitor is not a safe place. :-)

Note: This is by no means to be considered a substitute for any real security measures. It is really only intended to keep the casual snoop out of your work, since this password protection method can easily be bypassed simply by restarting the computer.
