Customize the DOS startup files
To create custom startup files for an MS-DOS program:
  1. Using a text editor (such as Notepad), edit the Config.nt and Autoexec.nt files. The files are located with your other Windows NT files in the directory \systemroot\System32.
  2. Save each file under a new name.
