Test your video selection
NT 4.0 has a new feature built into the Display applet (Control Panel, Display, Settings) that allows you to set your video resolution, refresh rate, but best of all you can Test your choices to insure compatibility.

If you're setting up your video and make a choice that your video can't handle, Windows NT 4.0 will switch to standard VGA. This will allow you to go back to the Display Properties dialog box to make another choice. You can generally avoid bad choices by always clicking Test after you make a choice.
