DOS window placement
If you want to decide where your MS-DOS window will open, choose Start, Settings, Control Panel and double-click on Console. When the dialog box opens, click on Layout and deselect the Let system position window check box. Now use the spin boxes to set the window's position, in pixels, from the top left corner. Your changes will be reflected in the Window Preview screen image.

From now on, your DOS console windows will open in your preset location
