A: The Windows 98 Service Pack 1 includes several minor fixes plus Year 2000 updates for the original version of Windows 98, but it does not include any of the new features that come with Windows 98 Second Edition. You pay only $5 shipping when you order the Windows 98 Service Pack 1 on CD.
The Windows 98 Service Pack 1 includes:
- A System Update for Windows 98, which addresses an Active Accessibility Update, USB Updates, Networking Updates, and other fixes and Updates.
- A Service Pack 2 for Internet Explorer 4.01, which includes security fixes, Internet-related Updates, and the latest version of Internet Explorer 4.01.
- All the current Year 2000 Updates for Windows 98.
- A Year 2000 Outlook Express Update.
